(Cover) - EN Star Style - Katy Perry's heels are no more than three inches for her current tour because of her energetic stage routines.

The American singer is currently wowing with her California Dreams stage show, which kicked off earlier this year.

The stunning star, who is famed for her daring and colourful wardrobe choices, is opting to wear more sensible footwear for her current tour.

Katy has 17 outfit and three footwear changes for the dazzling show, with her shoes designed by Phil LaDuca. The beauty's stylist, Johnny Wujek says Katy will not be donning any of her signature towering heels this time round, because of her energetic stage routines.

"With her, [heels] can't be too high," he told WWD. "The highest we go is [about] three inches."

Phil is thrilled that Katy is opting for his more comfortable style on stage. The shoe creator says he is honoured that the international superstar is wearing his designs on such a high-profile tour.

"Just the fact that I'm able to say that Katy Perry wore my shoes, I couldn't pay a million dollars for that," he gushed.

Johnny has described Katy's more signature style. The star's stylist says the raven-haired beauty chooses to stand out on the red carpet by donning a range of "experimental" garb.

"She is actually very eclectic. [Her style] is glamorous and experimental, but [her outfit] has to have humour in it," he said. "It's sexy, colourful and fun." (C) Cover Media
