Kaylee DeFer was "definitely intimidated" by the Gossip Girl cast when she first arrived on set.
The actress is currently starring in the hit CW series as Ivy Dickens, a con artist who assumes the identity of Serena van der Woodsen's cousin Charlie Rhodes.
The popular TV show boasts a high-profile cast including Blake Lively, Leighton Meester, Ed Westwick, Taylor Momsen, Penn Badgley and Chace Crawford.
Kaylee was initially overwhelmed by her new co-stars.
"It's like you're a student starting at a new school at the end of your senior year. It was definitely intimidating," she admitted in an interview with the UK edition of OK! magazine.
"It didn't hurt that Penn Badgley and I had to have a romantic involvement within the first few weeks of me getting there. But everyone was warm and welcoming to the new kid."
Kaylee appreciates the hunky males cast. The star says she would never act on the attraction however, as she is so loved-up with her man.
"I cannot lie, it's quite a pleasure to look at those handsome boys every day. I constantly blame Chace Crawford that the little sparkle in his eye keeps me from concentrating on our scenes!" she quipped.
"But I might disappoint you with the fact that I am very much involved with my fianc."
