Kerala Film Critics Association Invites Entry For Best Feature Films

January 12, 2011 (Sampurn Wire): The Atlas-Film Critics Association awards is going to be held in the coming months, so the Kerala Film Critics' Association has asked for the entries. The awards are presented to the best short films, feature films, books and articles on cinema.

The award is eligible to those films, which are censored in the time period of January 1, 2010 to December 31, 2010 and have been screened last year. A cash prize of Rs. 1 lakh can be won by the best movie.

Thekkinkadu Joseph, President of the association and M.M. Ramachandran, Chairman of the Atlas group, informed that the award will also be bestowed to best books, tele-cinema, television serials and documentaries.

The interested filmmakers can collect the application forms from Thekkinkadu Joseph, the Kerala Film Critics Associations President at Press Club in Kottayam.

February 5 is the last date to submit the entries so the filmmakers should not miss the opportunity to get their films registered for this competition.
