(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Kim Kardashian has insisted she is totally fine after getting involved in a fight in a New York bar.

The reality TV star had been enjoying a night out on Thursday with her sisters Khloe and Kourtney, and Kourtneys boyfriend Scott Disick, when a furious woman threw a drink in Kims face.

It has been reported a male fan approached Kim and asked her to pose for a photo with him, which she agreed to do. However, the mans girlfriend became jealous and made it clear that Kim should stay away from her man before tossing a drink over the star.

Scott and Khloe were outraged by the womans reaction and began reprimanding her, before security guards stepped in.

Kim has now taken to her blog to explain what happened and to reassure her fans that she has recovered from the run-in.

"I'm totally fine, guys. I want to address this because everyone has been asking me if I'm ok after the bar fight, Kim wrote. "We went out to have a fun night on Khloe's last night in NYC. A drunk male fan came up to me and asked to take a picture, and I obliged, but his girlfriend, who was also drunk, got a little out of hand. Luckily I had Scott and Khloe there to protect me."

Kim insists she hadnt been drinking alcohol during the evening and neither had her sisters. The 29-year-old beauty had been looking forward to spending some time with her siblings as she took a break from her hectic work schedule and as soon as the atmosphere became tense, they decided to carry on partying in another venue.

Their night out was being filmed for new series Kourtney and Kim Take New York.

"None of us were drinking," Kim added. "We just wanted a fun family night out, but when people see the cameras rolling, they try to get attention. I always take the high road, so we all left straight after and didn't feed into their drama." (C) Cover Media
