(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Khlo Kardashian says her wedding was a wake-up call for her sister Kim.

The TV star married basketball player Lamar Odom in 2009 following a whirlwind romance. She was 25 at the time, while Kim was almost 29.

Kim has previously admitted her life hasnt gone the way she thought it would when she was a youngster. She was 30 last year and always thought shed be married with kids at that age, which is part of the reason Khlo thinks she found the wedding tough.

I think it was hard for Kim when I got married. It was a wake-up call for her. It wasnt jealousy as such it was more, Oh my God, my little sister is getting married. I was in a place she wanted to get to. It made her reflect a lot, Khlo told Now magazine.

The star insists she doesnt get jealous of Kim or their 32-year-old sister Kourtney, adding many of the rumours about supposed feuds are made up.

The siblings are close friends and are always there for each other, with Kim and Kourtney the first people Khlo turns to if she has a problem. They also help her get through hard times, which can be difficult as shes in the public eye. The star cites a brush with cancer as a particularly testing period.

Ive had surgery for skin cancer a few times, so the thought of going under the knife through choice seems odd to me, she explained.

The most scary part was when I found skin cancer on my breast. I went into surgery and they didnt know how much of my breast they were going to make to remove. It was a real wake-up call. It sucked because I was walking into a plastic surgeons office and people automatically assume youre there for a boob job. (C) Cover Media
