(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Kim Kardashian's long time friend Lisa Gastineau says the newlywed wants to start a family soon.

The 30-year-old married Kris Humphries in a lavish ceremony earlier this month and is said to be ready to become a mother.

Lisa, who has known the reality show family for years, says that Kim is ready but her mother Kris Jenner is just as enthusiastic, if not more.

"She wants babies. Let's cross the fingers," Lisa dished to Us Weekly. "And her mom wants her to have babies quick!"

Lisa says Kim will be a "great mom" because "she is very nurturing".

Although Kim's basketballer husband is thought to be the lucky one marrying the beautiful and wealthy media star, Lisa says the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star is just as fortunate.

"He adores [Kim]," Lisa gushed. "I wish that every girl that I know had someone that adores her. Just the way he looks at her."

"He's so cool, he stands up to her. Kim is a little dynamo. It is amazing. It is a fun, fun relationship watching them!"

Kim arrived back in New York yesterday to start married life after a brief honeymoon in Europe and a trip to LA to attend the MTV Video Music Awards.

She arrived in the Big Apple with her sister Kourtney and nephew Mason as they are about to start filming a new season of Kim and Kourtney Take New York. (C) Cover Media
