(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Kimberly Stewart says Benicio Del Toro is "very involved" with their baby's life.

The beauty gave birth to daughter Delilah in August, but the pair have never officially been a couple.

Kimberly and Hollywood actor Benicio were only seeing each other casually for a month before Kimberly became pregnant much to everyone's surprise.

Despite their uncommitted relationship, Kimberly insists Benicio is a very hands-on father.

The Oscar-winning actor and Kimberley's mother Alana were by her side when she gave birth to Delilah Los Angeles. Her rocker father Rod Stewart, stepmother Penny Lancaster, and her siblings were also at the hospital.

"The whole family, including Benicio, was at the hospital and my mom and Benicio were in the delivery room with me," she told Hello! magazine.

"Benicio's very involved; he and Delilah have a very special bond."

Kimberley admitted she named her daughter after Tom Jones's 1968 hit Delilah. The 32-year-old star is so proud of her bundle of joy, and can see the likeness between her daughter and Benicio.

"I named her after the Tom Jones song, as I'd always loved that," she explained.

"She definitely looks like her dad, but she has my legs and eye colour."

Rod and wife Penny welcomed son Aiden just six months before Kimberly gave birth to Delilah.

Kimberley is thrilled with her ever-expanding family.

"Dad handles children great - he's had a lot of experience," she said.

"Since they [Delilah and Aiden] are only six months apart, I am counting on them being best friends." (C) Cover Media
