(Cover) - EN Star Style - Kimberly Wyatt says she was called fat when starting out in the music industry.
The 28-year-old is best known for her stint as a former Pussycat Dolls member and is now concentrating on performing with the band Her Majesty and The Wolves.
The singer has revealed she often suffered negative comments from those around her in the music industry, ranging from remarks about her body type to facial features.
Oh my goodness, Ive been told that Im too fat, my boobs arent big enough, that my face isnt good enough so I was going to be edited out of all the shots I was in. The list goes on and on, she told the British edition of OK! magazine.
Kimberly has defiantly attempted to prove the naysayers wrong through sheer hard work. She explained that far from being a hindrance, the doubters have inspired her to be a success in the industry.
It did knock my confidence, but it also made me determined to prove them wrong. When they told me I was fat, I started jogging. When they said I had bad skin, I started getting facials. Its a tough industry, but you have to ride it best you can, she added. (C) Cover Media
