Srinagara Kitty, the humble hero of Kannada cinema, could not save his films from crashing at the box-office but he has put in money so that his film could be released.

For the release of 'Sanju Weds Geetha', Srinagara Kitty arranged for Rs.60 lakhs at the last minute. This has made it possible for the film to be released.

The question doing the rounds is from where did he get that kind of money? He is not a top star and not calling the shots like Puneeth Rajakumar, Darshan or Sudeep. Kitty must have stretched his palms out in front of his father-in-law Ravi Belegere, the flamboyant editor of a popular weekly 'Hai Bangalore'.

At the shooting venue of 'Seetha Weds Geetha', when funds were short, actress Ramya too helped out by investing Rs.50 lakhs.

Whatever said and done, 'Sanju Weds Geetha' is a big hit today.
