The chirpy Genelia D'Souza, who entered wedlock with her longtime boyfriend Riteish Deshmukh in Mumbai on Friday, has got many friends in Kollywood. As the vivacious girl tied the knot, her friends here have conveyed their wishes to her.

'Vijay, Dhanush, Jayam Ravi, director Jayam Raja have expressed their wedding greetings to Genelia over telephone and e-mail. While Asin attended the marriage and conveyed her greetings in person,' sources in K-town say.

All the big names of Bollywood were spotted in the wedding ceremony including Shahrukh Khan, Ajay Devgan, Akshay Kumar, Shahid Kapoor, John Abraham, Suniel Shetty, Ashutosh Gowariker, Karan Johar, Abhishek Bachchan, Sohail Khan and Boman Irani.

Since, Riteish is the son of a politician - former Chief Minister of Maharashtra Vilasrao Deshmukh, the lavish wedding saw quite a large number of politicians in attendance.

The sparks of romance and love ignited between Genelia and Riteish on the sets of their debut film "Tujhe Meri Kasam" in 2003.
