Konkona Sen Sharma starrer 'Lipstick Under My Burkha' though faced many legal issues is continuing to bag awards at various film festivals. Recently Konkona Sen Sharma bagged the best actress award at the New York Indian Film Festival (NYIFF) 2017. She also received the best director award for her debut directorial venture 'A Death in The Gunj' starring Vikrant Massey, Kalki Koechlin, Jim Sarbh and Tanuja in the lead.

Kalki shared a picture of Konkona congratulating her and captioned it as, "Whoop whoop! #Repost @tillotamashome with @repostapp・・・Congratulations @konkona !!! ."

While Alankrita Shrivastava wrote, "Yay! @konkonas wins best actress at @nyindianff for @lipstickmovie #lipstickundermyburkha."
