The basketball star, who is getting married to the reality TV star in a matter of weeks, said he simply knew he had met the right woman.

The couple got engaged earlier this year after a whirlwind six-month romance.

"I think you just get that feeling," Kris told ET Online when asked how he knew that Kim was the right person for him. "It's an exciting time and I'm looking forward to everything."

The NBA player, who proposed to 30-year-old Kim with a $2 million diamond ring, also said he wasn't nervous about tying the knot.

He also insisted that they are sharing the wedding preparations between them.

"It's a little bit of both," Kris said when asked whether Kim was doing all the planning herself. "I'm excited. It's a really great time in my life and I'm really excited about everything, so it's been a lot of fun." (C) Cover Media
