(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler are reportedly giving their relationship another try.

The reality star and the Chicago Bears quarterback broke up in July and called off their engagement.

Kristin, 24, was "absolutely devastated" that she was not going to have her dream wedding but the pair are now said to be "working it out," according to People magazine.

"They're not officially back together but they're definitely talking and figuring things out," an insider told the publication.

The pair got engaged in Mexico in April after dating for just seven months and were planning on getting married early next year.

"Everything happened too fast when they first got together," the source said. "So this time they're taking things slow."

Kristin is currently appearing on this season of Dancing With The Stars. So with her busy schedule and the football season having started, the pair have not physically spent any time together just yet.

But the insider said that they have been "talking a lot" and enjoying being back in touch again.

Kristen tweeted a picture of herself wearing a Bears team sweatshirt over the weekend to show that she still supported Jay. (C) Cover Media
