Kristin Chenoweth: I'm issue-ridden

7th September 2012

Kristin Chenoweth is "issue-ridden" but "getting better" since her set accident in July.

The actress was on the Brooklyn set of US TV The Good Wife earlier this year when she was struck by a piece of lighting equipment. She was rushed to hospital after collapsing and has since been recovering at home.

Kristin appeared on Live with Kelly & Michael this morning to recount the unfortunate incident.

"Well, I'm doing so much better than I was," she explained. "Basically a big lighting thing ... fell and hit me. Knocked me out, knocked my face and slammed me down to the ground. ... The back of my head got hit on the curb. ...I had a skull fracture, rib issue and neck issue and a hip issue.

"I'm issue-ridden, but I'm getting better."

Kristin was greatly affected by the accident. The 44-year-old star became frustrated when she couldn't keep up with her usual pace of life.

"I couldn't really form a sentence really well after it happened. I'm the queen of multi-tasking. I'm not so good at that right now. I'll be like, 'Mom, are you talking on the thing that you push, the phone,'" she said.
