October 4, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): The nominations for the prestigious Europe Music Awards were out recently, and most amazingly, the female pop stars have been in for a great high, as they have got into the nomination list quite a number of times!

The Best pop has in its list names of Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Miley Cyrus, and Usher.

The Best Female has nominations of Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus, Rihanna and waka waka girl Shakira.

The Best video nominations are Katy Perry for California Gurls, Beyonce for Telephone and Eminem featuring-Rihanna for -Love the way you lie.

The Best World stage performance has Katy Perry, as one of the nominated for the Award.

Even though the male pop singers like Usher and Eminem (hes got 4 nominations),have also proved strong contenders in the other categories, these Awards sure seem to be a sweep for the ultra stylish and immensely talented female gang of pop divas!

The Awards are to be aired on Monday, the 7th of November live from Caja Magica in Madrid, Spain! So be sure to catch it!
