LeAnn Rimes' husband Eddie Cibrian has hinted that his wife may be joining The X Factor.

The handsome Hollywood actor told US television show Extra that there are possible negotiations going on.

Eddie only had praise for his lady love and thinks she would be an amazing addition to the American music competition show headed up by British mogul Simon Cowell.

"They've been talking," he said of conversations between LeAnn and The X Factor bosses.

"I think she would be unbelievable on a show like that. Plus, she can sing!"

The 38-year-old also addressed rumours that LeAnn was expecting their first baby together.

"Maybe! That's always a possibility, but I'm not sure," Eddie said. "She's not pregnant now."

The Good Deeds star is currently gearing up for the Toyota Pro/Celebrity Race for charity next month and says his country singing other half has reservations about him participating in the risky event.

"She's a little scared. She's like, Take it easy, babe. I don't want you to get hurt,'" he shared. "I'm not, no no one's going to get hurt, it's fine."
