Leonardo DiCaprio has smelly dog'

11th December 2011

Leonardo DiCaprio's travel companions have been piling into a plane's "cramped toilet" to escape the smell caused by his dog.

The actor has been promoting his new movie J. Edgar recently. Rather than leave his pet pooch Django at home, the star prefers to take him with him.

His pals don't usually mind, apart from when the hound passes gas mid-flight.

"It's kind of funny the first time you get a whiff, because everyone's looking around to see who did it. But after an hour or so it gets nauseating. By the end of the flight, the cramped toilet's the only place to get some fresh air," an insider complained.

Django is a seven-year-old French bulldog.

Leonardo loves to spoil his pet so often feeds him rich meals which don't aid his digestion.

Although the actor's friends have complained about the situation, the 37-year-old apparently can't fathom what the fuss is about.

"The funny thing is, Leo can't understand what the problem is, probably because he's so used to the odour," the source told National Enquirer. "Either that or he has no sense of smell!".
