(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Lily Aldridge thinks being married is the "best" and she is "proud" to be her husband's better half.

The 25-year-old Victoria's Secret model wed Kings of Leon's lead singer Caleb Followill in May of this year. Two months on, Lily is loving matrimony.

"Married life is the best," said Lily at the Victoria's Secret Angels' SoulCycle event in New York City on Tuesday. "[I am] so proud to be a wife."

The wedding ceremony was held in at San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, California. The couple shared nuptials beneath a large tree just before sunset.

"It was really an amazing day," said Lily. "It was more beautiful than I could've imagined."

Lily was unable to keep her emotions under wraps on her wedding day. In front of all guests, she exploded in tears of mirth.

"Lily cried throughout the whole thing," a source told Us Weekly.

Lily's husband Caleb is in complete agreement with his wife about connubial bliss. The wedding was a dream come true for him.
