Lindsay Lohan got emergency dental work'

20th October 2011

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Lindsay Lohan went to get emergency dental work done last week, it has been reported.

The actress came under scrutiny following pictures being published showing how badly stained and chipped her teeth had become.

So the 25-year-old got a leave of absence from her shoplifting programme on October 14 in order to go to the dentist.

She was seen on the red carpet two days prior with her unglamorous smile that showed that her teeth had possibly began to rot.

Dr. Pankaj Singh told RadarOnline that it looked like the starlet had "emergency dental intervention" after the bad publicity and a few days later had a brighter smile.

"Either she had some bondings or veneers done to cover up the stained and decayed teeth," Dr Singh said.

Lindsay's Probation Report stated that she had the dental work done and a record of her excused absences listed her trip to the dentist amongst numerous other dates that she was out of town for work.

The Mean Girls star was apparently "mortified" by the photographs of her brown and disfigured teeth and wanted to repair the issue immediately.

"Lindsay just didn't realise how bad the problem had become," the insider said. "When the photos came out and everyone was shocked and laughing at her she was totally mortified."

Her father Michael last night appeared on Issues with Jane Velez-Mitchell where he claimed that his daughter must have been taking drugs to get the badly stained teeth.

"That's from smoking a pipe with meth or crack," Michael said. "One or the other. I'm not going to shade it.

"If you're talking about prescription medication it would affect all your teeth, not just your two front teeth. You can't dance with the devil and expect to go home with Jesus."

The troubled star's probation was revoked yesterday after Judge Stephanie Sautner admonished her for missing several scheduled days of work at the Downtown Women's Shelter in Los Angeles as part of her probation stemming from her no contest plea in a jewellery theft case.

Lindsay has been ordered to spend at least 16 hours a week working at the county morgue before her next appearance in court on November 2 when the judge will determine if she was in violation of her probation and should be sent to jail. (C) Cover Media
