(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Lindsay Lohan is in the running for two mob movies, a Hollywood producer has revealed.

There has been intense speculation that the troubled actress is close to landing a part in upcoming movie Gotti: Three Generations, about legendary mobster John Gotti. Its been claimed Lindsay is being lined up to play Johns daughter Victoria, and the movies producer Marc Fiore has confirmed the rumours.

He also wants her to be in another of his releases, and says he isnt worried about her on-going legal problems. The star has been in and out of rehab and prison over the last year, and is awaiting trial for felony grand theft.

I want Lindsay to be in Gotti and another movie that Im producing. Shes a great, great actress, he told RadarOnline.

Shes been very professional with me. People make mistakes. Look at so many other people in Hollywood.

Marc explained Lindsay is close to signing to Gotti: Three Generations and its just the fine print of the contract which is being worked on. He also opened up about the other film hes hoping shell work on, called Mob Street.

Even though it's called Mob Street, the movie won't be a mobster movie. It's going to be a true story based on how the mob infiltrated Wall Street in the 90s. She'll be playing the wife of one of the brokers, he told X17Online.

Although Marc is positive about Gotti: Three Generations, the movie has hit a problem. Director Nick Cassavetes will no longer be working on it, although the producer isnt overly concerned.

Nick is going to be doing his own project, so we agreed to release him from the movie. I don't have a short list to release yet, but we're in talks with several directors, he added to X17Online. (C) Cover Media
