(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Lindsay Lohan reportedly wants to go to Europe to party with Paris and Nicky Hilton instead of working her community service hours.

The 25-year-old actress was given a stern talking to by Judge Stephanie Sautner last month about putting in the effort to ensure her 480 hours of community service are completed on time.

But RadarOnline are reporting that the Mean Girls star is more interested in going to the south of France to party with the socialite sisters.

"Lindsay wants to go to Europe to spend time with Paris and Nicky," an insider told the site.

"Lindsay's advisers are telling her it's not a good idea for her to go. But Lindsay doesn't have any travel restrictions on her, she can travel internationally."

Having only done 40 hours of her community service so far, Lindsay has a lot more ahead of her.

She has to complete a total of 380 hours at a woman's shelter in Downtown Los Angeles as well as 100 hours at a morgue.

Her father Michael Lohan has also weighed in on Lindsay's plans and says he is worried his daughter will not complete her obligations on time.

"After all she's been through in the court system and the opportunity she's been given to do her time outside of the prison system I would hate to see that opportunity go to waste," Michael told the site.

"She has so much talent and so much opportunity I hope she doesn't take it for granted by being side tracked by the wrong people. She's just being set up for failure."

Lindsay's probation stems from her no contest plea to misdemeanour theft of a $2,500 necklace from a Venice, California, store earlier this year.

A spokesperson for Lindsay said that she "takes her community service commitment very seriously and is working towards completing it in its entirety". (C) Cover Media
