(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Lindsay Lohan has been granted a two-year restraining order against a man she claims is stalking her.
A Los Angeles Superior Court judge issued the order against David Cocordan this morning, according to TMZ. The decree stipulates that David must stay 100 yards away from the 24-year-old actress at all times.
Lindsay filed allegations with Los Angeles Police Department's Threat Management Division in May, asking for a restraining order against David.
At the time it was revealed she feared Cocordan would try to harm her after he sent her dozens of explicit text messages, visited her home and followed her to public appearances.
"I am afraid that this text message shows that Mr. Cocordan intends to sexually assault me," she said in her original restraining order declaration.
Cocordan was seen by Lindsay bearing gifts outside of her home several times. The delusional text messages he sent to Lindsay suggested he believed they were in a romantic relationship. "I am glad we are engaged," read one.
David is reported to have mental issues, including schizophrenia.
Lindsay was not present at court with her attorney this morning. She remained in her apartment in Venice where she is currently serving her house arrest sentence, after pleading no contest to stealing a $2,500 necklace. (C) Cover Media
