Mammootty is back in the Tamil film circuit after a long time with 'Puthuvai Managaram'. Following the immense success of 'Engeyum Eppothum', which is based on a road accident, this film also deals with the same subject.

Apart from Mammootty, the film also stars Taapsee, Nadhiya, Suresh, Y.G. Mahendran, Anandaraj and others. Actress Kiran will be seen doing a cameo.

The film is about Taapsee caught in an accident, while she ventures out to save another accident victim. Mammootty goes to her rescue and the travails he undergoes for helping her forms the rest of 'Puthuvai Managaram'.

Mammootty, who was mostly seen in traditional costumes in films, will be seen sporting a stylish look in this film. James Vasanthan has scored the music for this film, which is shot completely in Puthuvai.

Bala R had produced 'Puthuvai Managaram' under the banner RB Films. This Johaan-directed venture will hit the screens this month.
