Music director Manisharma has always been following the same pattern of music composition. Most of his Tamil albums are nothing but the repetition of his Telugu tracks. Be it Vijay's 'Pokkiri' or the recent album 'Singam Puli', almost all the tracks are replicas of his yesteryear composition. Now with 'Mappillai', he has tried something new, but again they're much alike his previous numbers with some kind of orchestration. Except couple of tracks, none of them are worthy hearing to. Of course, one amongst them is nothing but the reprise version of Superstar Rajnikanth's 'Ennoda Raasi' from the original version of 'Mappillai'.
