(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Mariah Carey thinks raising children is probably the hardest job in the world.
The singer, who is in the final stages of pregnancy and is expecting twins, opened the doors to one of her babies two nurseries and shared her innermost thoughts on motherhood.
The star has created two different rooms for her children with husband Nick Cannon, one in the couples California home and one in their New York apartment.
"Being a mother is probably the hardest job in the world. I feel like, in a lot of ways, children come into the world to teach us," the 41-year-old told Life & Style magazine.
Mariah has been pouring her energy into creating the stunning room, which has been decorated in cream and green hues and features two cream wood-carved cribs.
A life-sized giraffe stuffed toy, surrounded by pink vases full of peonies awaits the arrival of Mariahs eagerly anticipated twins.
But the R&B diva is aware that she needs to give her children a sense of balance as they grow up in luxury.
"It's going to be a delicate balance between raising them around glitz and glamour and keeping them grounded, she said. One thing I'm sure of is that I'll be grateful for the twins every day, no matter what." (C) Cover Media
