Michael Clarke Duncan deceased

Michael Clarke Duncan died Monday morning, it has been confirmed.

The Green Mile actor passed away at the age of 54 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles after suffering from a heart attack two months ago.

Michael had a myocardial infarction on July 13 and was saved by fiance Omorosa Manigault-Stallworth who performed CPR on the 6' 5", 325 pounds star until paramedics arrived.

The family asks the public to keep Michael and his loved ones in their thoughts at this time.

"[Michael] suffered a myocardial infarction on July 13 and never fully recovered," the actor's representatives released in a statement to the Associated Press. "[Omorosa] Manigault is grateful for all of your prayers and asks for privacy at this time. Celebrations of his life, both private and public, will be announced at a later date."

Michael starred most recently on US TV show The Finder.

His breakout role as prisoner John Coffey in the 1999 fantasy movie The Green Mile also starring Tom Hanks - earned him best supporting actor nominations at both the Academy Awards and Golden Globes.
