(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Michael Kors has tied the knot with his long-time love.

The fashion designer married Lance LePere in a private ceremony in Southampton, New York, WWD reports.

Michael, who is also a judge on television show Project Runway, revealed it was his dream come true to marry his love.

"To marry someone as wonderful and special to me as Lance barefoot on a glorious beach is more than I could have dreamed of," the 52-year-old gushed.

Southampton Mayor Mark Epley officiated the ceremony which took place on Dune Beach.

The respected fashion designer announced he was going to marry Lance earlier this month, soon after same-sex marriage became legal in the Big Apple.

"Lance and I are very excited to finally be able to have the opportunity to marry in our home state after many years together," he told Us Weekly at the time.

The pair have been dating since 1990. They met in Paris when Lance interned at Michael's French office and have enjoyed a strong relationship ever since. (C) Cover Media
