(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Michelle Williams accepts not everyone will love her music, but she hopes she manages to connect with some people.

The American singer is best known for being part of girlband Destinys Child alongside Beyonc Knowles and Kelly Rowland. She is currently competing on UK televised talent competition Strictly Come Dancing, and has asked her former bandmates for advice. Speaking to them made her realise the show is not that different to releasing music she just has to accept people will have different opinions.

Beyonc said, Girl, are you serious? Youll be judged in front of millions of people. True, but its no different to putting out an album not everyones going to love it, but you hope you connect with the public, Michelle said.

Kelly was supportive of Michelles decision, and made her realise she could learn the ballroom dancing steps needed for the programme. Michelle joined Destinys Child once they were famous, meaning she is used to having to take lots on board quickly.

Kelly said, Remember when you joined Destinys Child, you had to learn in five days what wed been doing for ten years. And I was like, Wow, I do remember that I can do this, she recalled. (C) Cover Media
