Milap Zaveri's upcoming comedy 'Mastizaade' starring Sunny Leone, Tusshar Kapoor and Vir Das is in the news nowadays and recently we had an up, close and personal interview with the talented filmmaker and he indeed had quite witty answers to our questionnaire as follows.

How does it feel to be seated on the director's chair after a gap?

"Feels good yaar. it feels good that they gave me chance again after the first film failed but touchwood as a writer I had a couple of last 2-3 years were very good, touchwood everything worked, thanks to those who made those films and the actors who acted in them, people like Sanjay Gupta, Davidji, Induji supporting me very strongly during bad times and had faith in me, you know Anil sir for 24."

How was your experience working with your starcast?

"It was mind blowing, kuch logon ne pehle se kaan bharne shuru kiye they ki sunny difficult hai, sunny aisi hai, sunny troublesome hai and she's been unbelievable matlab you've seen the promo what she's done in mastizaade I dont think she's done in any hindi film since she's entered bollywood. You know usme best kya tha when i met daniel, I met daniel first, her husband with Rangita and we were in a cafe. We hade a screening process ki first Daniel listens and if he feels ki yeh ek legitimate party hai then he fixes a meeting ek do din baad with sunny."

You have 2 back to back releases 'Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3' as a writer and 'Mastizaade' as a director. How are you feeling about it?

"Touchwood both should become superhits, both should work and I would say ki in 2016, January would be the hottest month of the film industry, because you know we have 2 films coming. Both are hot, both are tracking very strongly at the box office predictionwise, both the promos have been loved, both the films are looking garam. Donon chalein, matlab merko bonanza hai."

Any universal message that you would like to convey to your audience?

"Enjoy yaar, life is very short, laugh, laugh and try and refine humour and comedy in things and dont get affected easily, try to not take offense to things, laugh, enjoy, life is full of problems. You have 2 hours, 1 hours, 15 mins if I can make people laugh, forget every worry that they had before they entered the theatre, then i would have done my job."
