While the young actors are bonding with their contemporaries like never before, filmmakers too are shedding animosity and inhibitions to come together and appreciate each other's work. 

So like Anurag Kashyap-Karan Johar, the latest set of directors is that of David Dhawan and Mohit Suri. 

Their camaraderie comes as a surprise as the two filmmakers belong to two different schools of filmmaking. 

However, how the two become friends is an interesting tale. 

Mohit recently revealed that it was David who took the first step in building the relationship. And since the time they have developed friendship, David made a pact that whenever Mohit delivers a hit, he will treat him. 

David has already hosted dinner for Mohit and his wife Udita Goswami after the success of his recent films 'Aashiqui 2' and 'Ek Villain'. 

Mohit confesses that such an encouraging act is something that he treasures. "I didn't even know him personally before 'Aashiqui 2' released. He called me to say that he liked the film and was happy that it was a huge success. He is a very senior filmmaker and I am glad that he is so appreciative of my work,"  Mohit said.
