Recently, it was heard that ace director S. S. Rajamouli will be releasing the Tamil and Telugu version of 'Naan Ee' in Bollywood as 'Makki' by the end of this year.

Buzz was that Abhishek Bachchan will be playing Nani's character in the Hindi version.

The directed rubbished the rumours stating, "There's no way that we are reshooting the scenes.", he further adds, "The Abhishek Bachchan rumours have no truth to it. The Hindi version will be completely dubbed, which would mean we have the original cast intact."

The director also mentioned that the movie was wildly accepted by everyone, hence he doesn't want to tamper with the original film. "As most of the film is action-oriented, as opposed to dialogues, it has a universal appeal.", he said.

When asked about converting the film in 3D, Rajamouli said, that he is not sure about it and that lies in the hands of our producer.
