Veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah, recently, while attending an acting workshop at IIT Kanpur, developed sudden allergy and complained of breathing problem. 

As a result the actor was immediately rushed to a private hospital nearby and was discharged after a few hours of treatment.

C. P. Singh, the deputy registrat of administration, IIT said, "The doctor checked his chest and did an ECG test to monitor his health. The report was normal. He was then given medicines for allergy and breathing troubles. He was discharged from the hospital after three hours and was taken to IIT guest house."

Naseeruddin is said to have recuperated from the allergy now and is reported to be in good health.
