Filmmaker Suparn Verma's upcoming film 'Aatma' stars Bipasha Basu and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the lead. The pairing appears to be very unusual as both the actors are from different schools of acting.

While Nawaz is from the parallel cinema, Bipasha has always been the glam doll of commercial cinema. Hence when Nawazuddin was offered the role opposite Bipasha, he was stunned.

"When I was offered the role opposite Bipasha, I was stunned as she is so fashionable and glamorous. But only when I started working with her, did I realize that she is a wonderful and easy-going co-actor. She completely surrenders herself to the film and is spontaneous," stated Nawaz.

As far as Bipasha is concerned she was excited to work with Nawaz as she was totally impressed with his role in 'Kahaani'.

"When I was told about Nawaz playing the lead, I was very happy as we couldn't have possibly got anyone better than Nawaz for this role. His performance in 'Kahaani' stayed with me for long. He has got tremendous screen presence," said Bipasha.

Touted to be a supernatural, the film is slated to release on March 22, 2013.
