Bollywood star Neil Nitin Mukesh has been synonymous with 'unconventional' roles. The actor who started his career with a grey character in 'Johnny Gaddaar', went on to do different roles in his films like 'Jail', '7 Khoon Maaf', 'Players' and 'David'.

Currently, gearing up for the release of '3G' where he plays a software engineer with a dark side, he confesses that he enjoys playing such edgy roles. "I've always preferred dark and edgy roles over the slapstick regular roles which everyone is busy doing. I can change myself for a challenging role," said Neil.

Nonetheless, he adds that he enjoys doing regular commercial cinema provided it has something different to offer through his character. He will next be seen in '3G', 'Roadside Romeo' and 'Ishqeria'.
