(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Nick Jonas doesnt consider himself to be an actor.

The star shot to fame in the American pop/rock band Jonas Brothers, alongside his siblings Joe and Kevin, and they became one of the most sought-after groups in the world.

As well as showing off his musical talent, Joe has also appeared in teen movie Camp Rock and television show Hot in Cleveland and recently made a cameo appearance in TV series Mr. Sunshine. Even though he has some experience in front of a camera, Nick still claims he is primarily a musician.

"I think with anything, it helps to have a couple of experiences under your belt before you go and do something like a cameo or something like that, Nick told MTV News. "We were able to do a couple seasons of the TV show for Disney Channel and then two movies for them as well, so I've done some acting. But I would never really consider myself an actor.

"When the right roles come up and when it's something I feel like I can contribute to in some way, I like doing it."

The 18-year-old heartthrob went on to discuss his future with Jonas Brothers. Although Nick is still close to his siblings, he admits it could be difficult to create new material that reflects each one of them. The star also makes music with Nick Jonas & the Administration and he feels belonging to another group allows him to release tracks that might not be right for Jonas Brothers. He is looking forward to working with his siblings again, but he wants to make sure the time is right.

"Like anybody, with the next one, you have to step it up and make it great, and I think that we don't necessarily know what the sound is right now," he explained about collaborating with his brothers. "And we're all kind of in different areas musically. I think that we don't have the same influences." (C) Cover Media
