Nick Lachey has called married life "awesome" after getting hitched in July.

The singer and television personality made Vanessa Minnillo his wife in a beautiful ceremony on Necker Island and says the past few months have been blissful.

Nick told OK! magazine that he has no complaints about being a married man again.

"It's awesome," Nick gushed. "It doesn't feel that dramatically different which I think is a great thing."

"We were happy before and kind of put a little asterisk on it and said, Hey, we're married but nothing really changed, which is great.'"

And he said, like his ex-wife Jessica Simpson who is expecting her first baby, he would love to have children in the near future.

"I think kids definitely yes," Nick shared. "I think it's the next step for she and I, but at this point we're really enjoying being married and that will come when it's meant to come and until then, we're enjoying being newlyweds."

The Sing-Off host added that they were looking forward to spending time with their family over the holidays.

"We'll be in Cincinnati," he revealed. "Yeah, niece and nephew and watching kids open presents, yeah, it's special so we're looking forward to that."
