(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Nicole Richie and Joel Madden have had a one-day honeymoon in Paris.

The couple married in Los Angeles last December, celebrating with a lavish ceremony - which included an elephant - at Nicoles father Lionel Richies home. Both have been incredibly busy since the nuptials, with Joel currently on a tour with his band Good Charlotte and Nicole promoting her clothing line.

The two have daughter Harlow, three, and 16-month-old son Sparrow together, so sometimes struggle to find time to spend together alone. When Joel found he had some spare time in Paris after playing a show in the romantic French city he convinced Nicole to take to the streets on a sightseeing expedition with him.

On their itinerary: a visit to Notre Dame and Montmartre's Sacre Coeur. And ever the fashionista, Richie made time for a stop at Colette boutique, reports People.

Nicole looked stylist in a full-length leather coat and knee-high boots. Joel opted for a simple black jacket and matching cap, and the pair were seen snuggling up to each other as they walked around the city with linked arms. (C) Cover Media
