(Cover) - EN Star Style - Nicole Richie wants all her designs to be practical as well as stylish.

The trendy reality TV star boasts two fashion lines, Winter Kate, which focuses on apparel, and jewellery line House of Harlow 1960. Nicole has been promoting her new footwear collections which have arrived at upmarket US store Nordstrom, and says she has been making sure her designs aren't only about glamour this time.

"My main goal for this particular collection and for all the footwear that I design is I want the shoes to look great but be comfortable at the same time," she explained.

Nicole strives to make sure all her creations reflect her personality. Her latest footwear creations include wedges and peep-toe flats, which are elegant but also easy to walk in.

"It's important for me to give each one its own identity and really focus on what I want that specific collection to mean," she told People.

"No matter how high the heels are within the collection, they're all very, very easy to walk in, which is something that's extremely important to me." (C) Cover Media
