The Pussycat Dolls star appeared on UK talent competition The X Factor as a judge earlier this year, alongside Simon and Louis Walsh. She enjoyed her stint on the series, and was a huge hit with fans. Simon was also impressed with her judging style, prompting speculation he may ask her to be involved with the American version of the programme when it launches next year.

Nicole has refused to confirm or deny the reports, but admits she did enjoy working with the music mogul. If Simon calls me up and asks me its something I really would have to have a think about because its a huge commitment and something I would really want to take seriously, she explained. Id have to see where I want to go with my music and stuff. You know, hes kind of not bad luck to be around. He kind of brings out the best in people, so you never know.

Nicole added she found judging prospective singers hard. She can still remember how much rejection smarted when she was starting out, and doesnt like upsetting people. The 32-year-old also finds it hard to see other people performing when she isnt, as she would spend every waking minute on stage if she could.

I feel a lot more at home on the other side of the judges table, on the stage. Thats what I love the most, thats my passion, she told British TV show Daybreak. Its a lot easier to do it than to just talk about it and critique it. Because you just want to be uplifting and encouraging, so its like, Lets just do it! (C) Cover Media
