Nimrat Kaur is preparing herself to play a lawyer in an upcoming biopic based on former Indian cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin helmed by Tony D'souza.

It is not a lengthy part but appears to be the crux of the film and hence, the makers were in search for a strong actor to play the role.

Nimrat's acceptance was important as the films goes on floor on May 1. Meanwhile, the hunt is still on  for an actress to play Sangeeta Bijlani. Emraan Hashmi plays Azhar while 'Rock On' actress, Prachi Desai plays his first wife, Naureen.

A source stated that unlike her other characters in the film which are inspired by real-life people, this is a completely different character.
