The makers of the much awaited film 'Banjo' which stars Riteish Deshmukh and Nargis Fakhri in the lead released the motion poster of the film just a day ago. Now the makers have released the first official teaser.
It is full of music and Riteish is splendid in his own sense like always. Riteish shared the teaser on his twitter account. He tweeted, "#BanjoTeaser -Thank you so much brother @juniorbachchan."
Set in the backdrop of Mumbai, the teaser starts with the snippets of the city. Riteish, a slum dweller with big ambitions makes a remarkable entry by emerging from a manhole. He is seen sporting a long funky hairdo with his head banging to some Banjo riffs. Rightly referred as 'Banjo Ki Duniya Ka Bachchan' we can see glimpses of Ganpati processions with people dancing madly on the tunes played by Riteish on his Banjo.
Nargis Fakhri, who is paired opposite Riteish plays the role of a DJ from New York, who is currently in Mumbai. She is seen in multiple avatars as she dons many different looks in the film, from sporting a traditional nine yards saree to the modern or casual avatar, she just looks drop dead gorgeous.
The teaser is full of music, drama, action and romance. We can also catch sight of some typical dance moves by Riteish and Nargis as well. But music forms a crucial part of the teaser as the film is based on the life of Banjo players hailing from Maharashtra.
Directed by Ravi Jadhav, produced and written by Krishika Lulla and presented by Eros International, the film is slated to release on September 23, 2016.
