Orlando Bloom plans family time

2nd August 2012

Orlando Bloom will be spending "quality time" with Miranda Kerr over the next year.

The couple have been married for two years and have been plagued by rumours they are going through a tough patch recently.

It was claimed Orlando's acting career and Miranda's work as a model had kept them apart.

The actor has now signed on to a Broadway play, meaning he will be in New York City for at least a year.

"Both Orlando and Miranda's jobs take them all over the world, so it'll be nice for him to be in one place for a bit," a source told British newspaper The Sun.

"There has been a lot of speculation recently after Miranda was pictured without her wedding ring, but this is a true commitment to spending some quality time together as a family."

Orlando and Miranda have 18-month-old son Flynn together and it's thought they are looking forward to doing everyday family activities.

The actor will play the lead role in a new adaptation of Shakespeare play Romeo and Juliet. It's not known exactly when the production will debut, although it will be after Orlando has completed work on the movies Cities and Zulu.
