(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Ozzy Osbourne can be summed up perfectly as a warrior and a worrier.
This year the 61-year old Black Sabbath rocker had his genes studied by scientists using blood analysis technology in a bid to comprehend whether something in his DNA helped him survive 40-years of alcohol and drug abuse.
The results of the analysis were revealing, with Ozzy claiming the most striking thing he discovered was that he possesses two genes which are often called the warrior variant and the worrier variant. Apparently most people usually only have one or the other.
Speaking in British newspaper The Times, Ozzy revealed how learning the news helped him understand his behaviour better.
Im a warrior and a worrier. Those two sides of my personality sum me up perfectly, he enthused.
He went on to explain how his soldier-like character traits helped carve his successful career in the music industry, as he became famed for his daredevil on-stage antics in the 70s.
The musicians sensitive side has enabled him to maintain a loving relationship with wife of 30 years Sharon, with whom he has three wonderful children.
Being a warrior the crazy bat-eating Prince of Darkness has made me famous. Being a worrier has kept me alive when some of my dearest friends never made it beyond their mid-20s, he revealed. (C) Cover Media
