(Cover) - EN Star Style - P. Diddy's new perfume Empress is described as a "woman's secret weapon".

The scent is designed to be the female version of his famed male scent I Am King. In a press release detailing the new fragrance, Diddy explained he hopes the perfume will encourage women to go all out to be as successful and empowered as they can.

"Empress is a woman's secret weapon allowing her to rule over her domain. She is more powerful than a king; she is Empress," it read.

Singer Kelly Rowland has been unveiled as the face of the scent. She's thrilled to be teaming up with the rap mogul, particularly as she believes in everything the fragrance stands for.

"Yeah, I'm the new ambassador for Empress; I just love what Empress represents," she said recently. "It's just women that are beautiful and powerful in their own right."

Diddy is renowned for his work in the fashion and beauty business. He launched his clothing line Sean Jean in 1998 and two years later was nominated as menswear designer of the year by the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA). In 2004, he took home the gong.

I Am King was launched in 2008, and was dedicated to US President Barack Obama, boxer Muhammad Ali and civil rights leader Martin Luther King. (C) Cover Media
