Parineeti Chopra made a powerful debut in the film 'Ladies vs Ricky Bahl' and 'Ishaqzaade'. After winning a billion hearts and multiple awards, the actress managed to add yet another feather to her hat with a 'special mention' by the National Award jury for her performance in 'Ishaqzaade'.

While Parineeti is showered with compliments from the Bollywood fraternity, fans and close friends, it was a special gesture by superstar Amitabh Bachchan that turned out to be the ultimate treat for the talented actress.

Amitabh sent over a bouquet of flowers with a hand written note that was especially penned by Big B to congratulate Parineeti on her achievement at the National Awards. Parineeti was overwhelmed by this extremely special gesture and was quite touched by this thoughtful act.
