(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Paris Hilton thinks having kids is the meaning of life.

The hotel heiress has vowed to ditch her party lifestyle after she was handed a one-year suspended sentence, community service and a $2,000 fine after pleading guilty to possessing cocaine last month.

She has started her court-ordered community service by working at a rescue mission in Los Angeles and has also been working with kids charities. The causes are something the star is particularly passionate about as she loves animals and children so much.

Paris is currently dating nightclub manager Cy Waits, who has a seven-year-old daughter called Shae. Paris has been spending a lot of time with Cy and Shae, and it has shown her what is really important in life.

We spend a couple of days every week in Vegas. We go back and forth to see her and when we are there it's completely different from when I used to go to Vegas, Paris explained to RadarOnline. We do normal things like go to the movies, and relax and just get her ready for school.

It's definitely a different pace but I'm really enjoying and loving it. I think having kids is the meaning of life and I really believe that. I definitely want to have a couple of kids when I do because being an only child is hard and I always loved growing up with a big family.

Paris enjoys spending time with Shae, and says they have plenty in common. The both love animals, and like spending time at pet stores and playing games with each other. If they want girl time, the duo have manicures or visit the hair salon.
