The daughter of legendary singer Michael Jackson made a rare appearance at the launch event for Mr Pink Ginseng Drink in Beverly Hills last night.

The 14-year-old explained how she has dealt with the media attention since her birth.

"Stay humble," Paris told ET Online. "Don't let things get to your head."

The outspoken teen appeared at the event with her aunt La Toya and two brothers Prince Michael I, 15, and ten-year-old Prince Michael II - also known as Blanket.

It has recently been reported that Paris is pursuing a career as an actress. While she refused to name the project she is working on, Paris revealed it is not a reality TV show.

"[My acting career is going] great," Paris said. "No it's not reality television. I like to keep some parts of our life private, you know?"

Her elder brother Prince Michael I explained why the famous siblings were in attendance at the event.

"To promote healthiness, actually, because it's a very healthy energy drink," he jovially said. "It's for a good cause, so that's why. And I like it."

It has now been reported that Dr. Conrad Murray, who is serving a four-year sentence for Michael's involuntary manslaughter, will not be released from jail early. The King of Pop's former physician had hoped he would be out by Christmas to serve his remaining jail time under house arrest.

"The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department maintains that Dr. Murray isn't eligible for house arrest/electronic monitoring," Dr. Murray's attorney, Valerie Wass, told Radar Online. (C) Cover Media
