'The Shadow', a film starring Pawan Kalyan in the lead role and directed by popular Tamil filmmaker Vishnuvardhan, has been reportedly renamed as 'Kaali'.

� "The decision has been taken since the makers felt that 'The Shadow' did not have much value and 'Kaali' comes with a tremendous attraction, as the film is a high voltage action entertainer," say sources.

� Vishnuvardhan, who was to direct Ajith for 'Billa 2', walked out of the project to work with Pawan. Remember, Vishnuvardhan was the director for 'Billa', a remake of Superstar Rajinikanth's film of the same title.
