Just a few days back it was reported that actress Priyanka Chopra's father Dr. Ashok Chopra was critically ill. The actress' father who was suffering from cancer passed away this morning.

Priyanka, along with her family was at her father's bedside throughout the night. The actress put aside all her work assignments and had been spending time praying for her father's recovery.

Dr. Chopra was suffering from cancer since 2008 when PC was shooting for 'Bluffmaster'. He had undergone several medical surgeries, but the cancer relapsed.
