(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Penlope Cruz says her life changed forever when she became a mother.

The 37-year-old Hollywood star gave birth to her first child, a son called Leo, in January. Penlope was warned everything would transform once she had kids, but she never believed she would feel so strongly as soon as she welcomed her baby into the world.

The beauty and her husband Javier Bardem are smitten with their child and she is happy to confirm the clichs about parenthood are all accurate.

Everybody tells you things change. And then all those clichs, those things you hear about having a baby and motherhood all of them are true, she said in an interview with GQ. And all of them are the most beautiful things you will ever experience. So yes, your priorities change. Its from the second you see that little face, your life has changed forever.

Penlope can next be seen in the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie alongside Johnny Depp. She has developed a reputation for testing her acting abilities in a wide range of roles which have seen her sing and dance. Even though Penlope was happy to show off her vocal talents for movie musical Nine, she has no plans to follow in Gwyneth Paltrows footsteps and pursue a career in music. Penlope loves watching American musical television show Glee, but would be too nervous to ever appear in it.

Im a big fan of the show. But its scary, she explained. Im not a professional singer but I can do it well enough. Not on Broadway something that I have turned down before not yet anyway. (C) Cover Media
